Many children grow up with the story of Noah as a happy picture book. There is a big boat, the animals walk in two by two, and a rainbow comes out at the end. But the story underneath the picture is terrible. God looks at the world, decides it is wicked, and drowns almost every person and animal on earth, babies included.
That is a hard thing to believe about a Father.
